Transportation of a closed casket is done from the place of where the coffin has been closed (funeral parlour, hospital or home) to the place of burial or cremation.

Repatriation Worldwide

The Pompes Funèbres de la Brie ensure that in the unlikely event that a person passes away abroad, their remains will be repatriated at the earliest possible time back to France. We also ensure the relevant documentation and authorizations.

In conformity with the French law, once the corpse is arrived in France, the family has six days to organize the funeral and the burial.
